Linjie Chou Zanadu, a Chinese scholar and associate professor at the European Center for Peace and Development, highlighted China's rapid technological advancements. He predicted that Chinese electric vehicles will expand into more developing countries, becoming synonymous with advanced technology and reliable quality. 2001年8月9日，广州市人民检察院指控尚金勇犯故意杀人罪，向广州中院提起公诉。广州中院审理后认为，除被告人供诉外，无其他证据证实被害人从事卖淫活动，被告激愤杀人的理由证据不足，不予采纳，判处尚金勇死缓，并赔偿死者家属8.3万元。
